1.1 Device, App, and Technical Information

To operate the app, measure performance, support analytics, and maintain security, we may collect technical information such as:

• file metadata, grouping results, duplicate or similarity detection results, screenshot classification results, and organization summaries;
• space-saving results, optimization outcomes, and AI-generated cleanup reports based on selected content.

We do not describe all media processing as identical. Some functions may run locally on the device, while some AI-powered or cloud-assisted functions may require data transmission to our servers or third-party providers.

1.3 AI Assistant Inputs and AI Processing Data

If you use Genie’s AI assistant or other AI-powered features, we may process:

• text prompts or commands you enter;
• conversation context needed to generate a reply or continue an AI session;
• selected file, media, or organization context needed to answer your request or generate an optimization suggestion;
• AI outputs such as summaries, organization suggestions, cleanup reasoning, or optimization reports.

• You should avoid entering highly sensitive personal information into free-form AI chat unless it is necessary for the requested feature.

5. Advertising, Attribution, and Tracking

Genie Space may use identifiers, attribution signals, and conversion data for analytics, advertising, attribution, and campaign measurement. Where platform rules require consent, data processing for tracking or attribution may depend on the permissions or privacy settings you grant on your device.

If you deny platform-level tracking permissions, some attribution or advertising measurements may be limited, but core app features may still remain available.

6. Permissions and Access

Depending on the features you use, Genie Space may request access to certain system capabilities, such as:
